Mary Morrison’s paintings have been widely collected since she began exhibiting in 1989. Her pieces have been purchased by the State of Colorado through the Art in Public Places Program, as well as the University of Colorado at Boulder. More corporate collectors are listed below. In 2007, Morrison completed commissions for The Medical Center of the Rockies, Loveland, CO and The Hermann Memorial Wellness Center in Houston, Texas.
In 2006, she was selected as the Working Artist for Golden Artist Colors, Inc. of New Berlin, New York. In this position, Mary teaches and lectures to colleges, universities and arts organizations throughout Colorado and Utah, on the history, technical aspects and artistic possibilities of acrylics paints. Morrison has maintained studio space at The Grant Street Art Studios, in lower downtown Denver, for the past 14 years. Clients are always welcome at the studio by appointment. She also teaches private lessons and workshops at the studio and other locations throughout the Front Range.
